Coir blocks

Coir blocks

Coco peat, either alone or mixed with husk chips, is compressed into a block that expands to 60L - 80L when water is added. Different blends are available to suit various crops. It is an excellent soil enhancer, improving aeration, softness and water holding capacity.

They are widely used in horticulture, floriculture, greenhouses, reptile breeding, worm bedding and horse bedding. Coco peat outperforms peat in many aspects, providing natural disease resistance, supporting healthier rooting systems and enhancing plant growth.

Coir twine

Coir twine

Coir twine is a really useful tool in gardening. It is a type of natural fiber rope used for different things in the garden. We can tie plants to sticks or frames so they can grow up strong and steady.

Coir twine has a slightly rough texture, which provides a good grip and prevents slipping. Coir has a natural resistance to water, making it suitable for use in moist or wet environments. It doesn't easily rot or weaken when exposed to water. The twine breaks down and becomes part of the soil when it gets old. Coir is a natural and renewable resource, making twine an environmentally friendly choice. It is biodegradable and can break down naturally.

They are a great solution for hops growers.

Coir substrate filler for high raised gardens

Coir substrate filler for high raised gardens

Coir substrate filler serves a vital role in developing thriving high-raised gardens. This specialized material from coir husks significantly improves soil quality within elevated beds. By enhancing soil structure and drainage, coir substrate filler ensures optimal aeration for root health while preventing waterlogging.

Coir substrate filler stays vital for a long time, so you don't have to replace it often. It's also a sustainable choice because it's made from coir, which are easy to grow again.

Water storage fleeces from coir and wool

Water storage fleeces from coir and wool

Water storage fleeces, crafted from natural coir fibers or wool, offer valuable solutions for efficient water management. Coir-based fleeces soak up water and keep the soil moist. On the other hand, wool-based fleeces provide excellent water retention and distribution, aiding in optimal soil hydration.

These fleeces are like sponges that soak up water. They help plants drink when thirsty and keep the soil from getting too dry.

Water storage foam pads

Water storage foam pads

Water storage foam pads are made from polyurethane foam, which acts like a super sponge. When placed in gardens or fields, they slowly let out the water they've soaked up to keep the soil always a bit wet.

Water storage foam pads are beneficial in dry areas or during dry periods, as they provide a way to conserve water and ensure plants have a steady supply.

Coir logs

Coir logs

Coir logs, also known as geologs, are like long, sturdy sausages. They are used to stop soil from washing away near rivers or places where the ground is easily worn down. They're like protective barriers that help keep the land in place and prevent erosion.

These logs are eco-friendly because they're made from natural materials and they give plants a chance to grow back and make the area strong again.

Drainage mats for pipes

Drainage mats for pipes

Coir mats bring benefits to gardens and outdoor spaces. The purpose of these mats is to be wrapped around drainage pipes. When wrapped around the pipes, they add extra protection and improve the drainage system. This helps keep the soil and pipes safe, working well together to manage water.

The natural and organic coir substrate is a sustainable option for enhancing gardening practices. It can be easily incorporated into the soil, offering various advantages for plant growth. This substrate effectively improves soil aeration, making it suitable for heavy and compact garden soil. The coir fiber aids in moisture retention, reducing watering frequency while ensuring plants remain hydrated.

The substrate is very lightweight and is suitable for sowing and transplanting vegetables, fruit trees, shrubs and ornamental plants. It does not contain peat; its origin is natural and sustainable. Free from artificial fertilizers and chemicals

Coir poles

Coir poles

Coir poles are like helpful sticks for plants that need support. They hold up plants that might fall over or need extra help growing straight. To use a coir pole, you stick it in the soil next to the plant. As the plant grows, it can lean on the pole for support. This is especially important for plants like vines, as the pole keeps them from sprawling on the ground. At the bottom of the coir pole is a wooden stick. This stick provides stability and helps anchor the pole securely into the soil.

Coir poles are eco-friendly because they're entirely natural. They absorb and hold onto water. This gives the plant a bit of extra hydration when it's needed. When the coir pole gets older and starts to break down, it adds nutrients to the soil, which is like food for the plant. So, it's helping the plant and improving the soil for the future. You can find different sizes of coir poles, depending on how tall the plant is or how much support it needs. They're like sturdy friends that plants can lean on as they reach for the sun.
